How to choose flowers for a child
Consider the child’s age, height, favourite colours and the nature of the event. The bouquet should be light enough to hold briefly for a greeting or photograph. An oversized arrangement can turn a happy moment into something awkward.
An adult should consider individual sensitivity to scents and plant contact, and help remove transport wrapping before the bouquet is handled. Flowers are not a toy, so a young child should receive and place them in water together with a responsible adult.
