Decide what the flowers should do
For a visit, choose a bouquet that is easy to hand over and place in a regular vase. For a dining table, check the height and footprint in advance so the arrangement does not interrupt conversation, serving or the view between guests.
When flowers accompany other gifts, the design does not need to carry every seasonal symbol. A light or natural palette may support the occasion, but the final decision should fit the hosts, the interior and the seasonal products actually available.
